Nawazuddin Siddiqui has made a name for himself as one of Indian cinema's most lauded performers. Nawazuddin continues to be every director's go-to actor for complicated and sophisticated characters despite experiencing a string of box office disappointments with movies like Photograph, Motichoor Chaknachoor, and Heropanti 2.

Not just films, the OTT trend in India was pioneered by Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Everyone was made to sit up and take notice that this medium is here to stay by his performance as Ganesh Gaitonde in the Netflix's show Sacred Games.

But after some time, he declared that he wouldn't do any more web shows as he believes it has turned into a "dumping ground" for unnecessary shows. The rumour that as many as eight of the actor's films aren't finding any buyers on OTT platforms and they didn't want to go the theatrical route has started circulating recently.

Now the actor reacted to these reports and said that it's completely untrue. He was quoted as saying by Hindustan Times, “Meri films ready hi nahi hui hain, pata nahi kahaan se yeh issue aaya! Aap koi bhi films ki baat kar lo- Haddi is still being shot currently, before this I completed the shoot for my film Afwaah, the post-production work is on. This work takes at least a year, and if not that, at least six-seven months even if you do it fast.”

“My dubbing work for all my films is still left, including Jogira Sa Ra Ra Ra. Tiku Weds Sheru will come on a leading OTT platform, I don’t know when. Meri kaun si picture ko OTT mana kar raha hai? Mujhe toh pata nahi yeh news kahaan se aayi,” the Gangs Of Wasseypur actor added.

The actor was last seen in Heropanti 2, co-starring Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria. His next film appearance will be in the noir vengeance movie Haddi. Additionally, he has Jogira Sara Ra Ra, Tiku Weds Sheru, and Noorani Chehre in his kitty.
