Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan get romantic on the flight as they head to Spain

Newly married Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan are headed to Barcelona, Spain on a short holiday. Vignesh shared pictures of the duo from inside their flight and he captioned it, "After a continuous streak of work, work, work, here we take some time for ourselves! #Barcelona here we come ! (sic)" In the pictures, the couple is seen getting all romantic and mushy and their PDA is winning many hearts

Vignesh Shivan had been busy conceptualising and directing the inaugural show and the closing ceremony of the 44th International Chess Olympiad, which was recently held in Chennai. The director had worked hard on the two performances, which revolved around the Tamil heritage, and it received acclaim from people from across the quarters.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin, too, had mentioned Vignesh Shivan's name on his social media handle, when he thanked those who made the event a successful one.He had written, "Isai Puyal @arrahman, Ulaga Nayagan @ikamalhaasan, Director @VigneshShivN, @tnpoliceoffl & everyone else for their support, co-operation and hard work in pulling off this mega global event in a short span of time. I assure we'll continue to raise eyebrows with our efforts (sic)."

Thanking CM Stalin, Vignesh Shivan wrote, "Unforgettable moment in life when the honourable Chief minister M K Stalin mentioned my name with the kindest and the most encouraging words! Shows the humbleness and the magnanimity of him. My mom and sister being present and my wife watching it on TV and a whole bunch of family members and my friends felt so happy and proud at this moment. Thank you sir. All the hard work was worth this one sweet moment (sic)."

Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan got married in an elegant ceremony on June 9 in the outskirts of Chennai. The event was attended by the who's who of the industry and become the talk of the town.
