The suspense surrounding the title for Nandamuri Balakrishna's action entertainer #NBK107 continues. While the film is rumoured to be titled Jai Balayya, fans are still to receive an official confirmation from the team. #NBK107, which features Shruti Haasan as the female lead, is directed by Gopichand Malineni. The film, touted to be a Dasara release, is bankrolled by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar under Mythri Movie Makers.

The latest update about the film informs us that key sequences of the actioner will be shot at Kurnool, starting from tomorrow. The scenes will be filmed at the iconic Kondareddy Buruju fort in addition to Maurya Hotel Centre, reports confirm. Varalakshmi Sarathkumar too plays a crucial role in the film that marks the Telugu debut of Kannada star Duniya Vijay. Australian actress, model Chandrika Ravi will be seen in a special number.

Balakrishna had taken a brief break from the shoot of #NBK107 a few weeks ago when he was infected with COVID-19. Rishi Punjabi cranks the camera for the film which will have dialogues by Sai Madhav Burra. The latter had collaborated with the star for the two-part NTR biopic, Gauthamiputra Sathakarni as well. Navin Nooli, AS Prakash are the editor and the art director respectively. Chandu Ravipati is the executive producer. Ram-Lakshaman handle stunt choreography. S Thaman scores the music.

After #NBK107, Balakrishna will move onto the shoot of another masala potboiler, to be directed by F3 filmmaker Anil Ravipudi. Talks are doing the rounds that the star will be seen in an elderly role and Sreeleela is cast as his on-screen daughter in the film. Shine Screens is backing the film.
