Netizens come out in support as Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's birthday post for daughter Aaradhya brings out the trolls

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan shared a photo on Aaradhya's birthday as she wishes her. The actress can be seen giving her daughter a birthday kiss. Her post has since generated discussion among online users.

Aishwarya posted a beautiful picture with a cute caption that read, “MY LOVE… MY LIFE… I LOVE YOU, MY AARADHYA.”

However, it wasn't the message that caused her to receive trolling; rather, it was the picture of Aishwarya and Aaradhya exchanging a kiss on the lips. 

Ideally, a mother should be able to communicate her love and care for her kid in a way that is both unique to her and subjective to her. However, in this instance, the photo really got on some people's nerves, and they ended up calling it "cringe." 

While one user wrote, “Not to offend or to spread hate, but Really parents gotta stop kissing children on their lips ..it's getting a little bit on trend these days and know this it's really weird for some people.” Another online user wrote, "Why on lips?"

But in the middle of all this hatred, there were fans who came in support of the actress and bashed the trolls. One fan commented, “She is a mother and she has the right to hug and kiss her daughter or son irrespective of their ages....And that's normal since ages.”

Another user wrote, "Come on ppl just stop judging a mother and a daughter's relationship.... It's just a kiss which means love and affection." While one user commented, "Wow so beautiful pic of mom and daughter, we need more pics like that. Best pic of 2022. Mother-daughter kiss is blessing, understanding, love without anything in return."

On April 20, 2007, Aishwarya and actor Abhishek Bachchan tied the knot. They've been married for 15 years lately. They were married in a discreet ceremony at Mumbai's Prateeksha, Amitabh's mansion. On November 16, 2011, the couple welcomed their daughter, Aaradhya, after four years of marriage.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Aishwarya was recently seen in Ponniyin Selvan - 1, the critically acclaimed historical drama film directed by Mani Ratnam. She will soon be seen with Rajinikanth, Ramya Krishnan, Priyanka Arul Mohan, and Shiva Rajkumar in the action movie Jailer.
