NTR30: Here’s when Jr NTR’s violent saga, helmed by Koratala Siva, will hit theatres

Jr NTR fans, who had to wait for four years after Aravinda Sametha to watch their favourite star on the big screen (with RRR in 2022), will have to wait another one and a half years to catch his next film. Yes, we’re indeed talking about #NTR30, Jr NTR’s next with director Koratala Siva. Commemorating the new year, a special update about the film was shared by its makers today.

After extensive pre-production,#NTR30’s shoot will commence in February this year. In addition, the production houses Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts confirmed the release date. The action saga will release in multiple languages on April 5, 2024. “A man's fury is the cure for a disease called courage. #NTR30 in cinemas on April 5th, 2024. Shoot begins next month. Happy New Year,” they wrote.

A still of Jr NTR holding two weapons in his hands on a rainy day was unveiled by the team. The film has an impressive technical crew. While renowned cinematographer Ratnavelu cranks the camera, the film will be edited by Sreekar Prasad. Anirudh Ravichander is the music director and had also participated in a few discussions with Koratala Siva in the second half of 2022.

Sabu Cyril, who worked on Jr NTR’s RRR as well, is the production designer. After Alia Bhatt backed out of the project (post initial discussions), there were several speculations around the female lead. An official announcement about it is expected to be out later this month. Nandamuri Kalyan Ram is the presenter while Sudhakar Mikkilineni and Kosaraju Harikrishna are the producers.

Jr NTR, after #NTR30, will team up with Prashanth Neel for an actioner to be produced by Mythri Movie Makers. He was to work on Uppena director Buchi Babu Sana’s sports drama as well but the star opted out of it owing to his prior commitments. After Jr NTR’s exit, Ram Charan gave his nod to the project.
