Nusraat Faria: Not getting married any time soon

Bangladeshi actress Nusraat Faria has gained popularity in Tollywood too after working with Yash and Ankush. Now, the regular face of the Bengali film industry is currently shooting Abar Bikbaho Obhijaan with Ankush, Anirban Bhattacharya, Rudranil Ghosh, Sourav Das, Sohini Sarkar, and Priyanka Sarkar. Recently Nusraat went with the team to Thailand for shooting. 

However, when is she tying the knot? For over two years, speculations have been on over her marriage date. Nusraat exchanged rings with Rony Riad Rashid in 2020. She announced her engagement to the world four days after the ceremony and confirmed that the wedding would take place in December of that year. However, even after two years of the incident, the actress did not utter a word. Her fans got inquisitive. At last, Nusraat told Bangladesh media that she would not marry. Why did she break off the engagement? She did not clearly answer, but said, “Let one heroine in the industry remain single.” Nusraat cleared her opinion about Rony. “We do not have any problems or conflicts. But the wedding will not take place,” she declared.  

Nusraat also said, “No work should be done based on whims. If I do something like that, it is me who will suffer. That is why I am doing everything with a cool head. I think this will strengthen and elongate our friendship.” Will she ever marry? Nusraat said, “Someday I have to. But it will happen in its own good time. Now there is no pressure.” This year she took part in the Indian International Film Festival in Goa. There her film Patalghar was shown.
