The comedy-drama Old Dads, directed by and starring Bill Burr, has just released its trailer. The Netflix film marks Burr's directorial debut, and the trailer showcases a group of fathers struggling to adapt to the ways of the new generation. It begins with Burr's character teaching his son to use sand to treat a wound, only to be discouraged by a younger neighbour. Alongside Bobby Cannavale and Bokeem Woodbine, Burr plays one of the conventional fathers in the movie. They are all facing changes in their professional and parental lives and are trying to adapt to an evolving society. The three dads are unaware of terms like gender neutral and carbon neutral. Additionally, only some in the trio have moved on from a flip phone, and they all struggle to accept that what was once cool is no longer. The trailer promises a light-hearted comedy drama, with its lead actors all being proven performers in the comedy genre.
