Orchestra, Mysuru! on OTT: Everyone’s loving Poorna Mysore’s film; netizens hail it a gem

When you are confident about something, chances are that you’d be willing to think the hitherto unthinkable and act on it too. That’s what the team of the Kannada film Orchestra, Mysuru! did when they not only decided to hit theatres for Sankranti – a festival that Sandalwood generally hands off to Telugu and Tamil biggies – but also take on the might of the likes of Ajith, Vijay, Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna at the box office. Unfortunately, for the team, though, Kannada audiences did not extend the support they were counting on during the film’s theatrical run, forcing them to bring it to OTT at the earliest. The poor response to the film in theatres had even got co-producer and composer Raghu Dixit to take to social media with a teary-eyed appeal to audiences to support good content.

Now that Orchestra, Mysuru! is on Amazon Prime Video, though, it’s a totally different story. The film dropped on the streamer on January 27 and ever since, audiences have been singing the film’s praise and rueing the missed chance of catching it on the big screen.
