Ottu: Kunchacko Boban-Arvind Swami starrer wraps up the shoot

The Kunchacko Boban-Arvind Swami starrer Ottu movie’s team wraps up their shoot. The team took the news to their official social media handles with a picture of the film’s ‘pack up’ clapper board. Though amidst the pandemic, they managed to find locations outside Kerala, and if the reports are to be believed, the shoot has been wrapped within 63 days.

The Malayalam movie Ottu, helmed by Fellini T P, is reported to be a drama thriller, which narrates the story of two friends and their bond. The lead roles will be played by Mollywood’s favourite Kunchacko Boban alongside the versatile Tamil actor Arvind Swami.

It is also buzzed to have elements of a road movie and is set on the backdrop of Mangalore and Mumbai. Actress Eesha Rebba will also be seen playing a vital role in the movie.

Recently, actor Kunchacko Boban had shared BTS pictures from the set on his Instagram account, which instantly caught everyone’s attention. The photo featured him with the director, director of photography and associate director of the movie. The team had a hectic shoot, according to his caption, and they were taking a break to have their food while clicking the picture. Fans poured their love and wishes via their comments. The first look poster of Ottu was released during the occasion of Arvind Swami’s birthday, via Kunchacko’s official social media. 

Actor Arvind Swami, who predominantly works in Tamil cinema, is not a new face to Malayalis. He has already been a part of Mollywood in films like Devaraagam (1996), and Daddy (1992). Ottu will mark Arvind’s comeback as well as Kunchacko’s Tamil debut, as the movie will also be released in Tamil simultaneously.
