Bachelor Party, directed by Abhijit Mahesh, was the first release from Rakshit Shetty’s banner Paramvah Studios in 2024. A comedy that was marketed as the next big ‘party’ after Kirik Party, Bachelor Party, however, did not work at the box office. The film, starring Diganth, Yogi, Achyuth Kumar and Siri Ravikumar in the lead, fizzled out almost instantly, owing to its tepid story and execution.

While the Warning Song has been released prior to the film’s theatrical outing, subsequently the full video of Nenapirali, a romantic number featuring Yogi and Achara Kirk came out and now, there is Paapa Santhosha, the song that gives audiences an insight into the sad and miserable life that Diganth as Santhosh Manchale is leading with his wife, Sandhya (Siri). If that isn’t bad enough, Santhosh’s work life isn’t great either. This is pretty much what Paapa Santhosha, sung by Vijay Prakash, depicts.

Bachelor Party released in theatres on January 26 and did not have a streaming partner on board at the time. The full video song releases could be indication of an impending OTT premiere, but an official announcement on the platform and date is yet to be made. Given that Paramvah Studios ventures have so far been picked up by Amazon Prime and Voot Select (now JioCinema), Bachelor Party could not be far off from making its debut online.

The film, meanwhile, was centered on Diganth’s character Santhosh, who runs into childhood buddy and troublemaker Maddy (Yogi) at another friend’s bachelor party. After a night of drunken debauchery, Santhosh, Maddy and their PT master (Achyuth Kumar), find themselves in Bangkok. Santhosh chances upon Sandhya and embarks on an investigation as to why she is in Bangkok and with whom, while Maddy finds the love of his life.

This year, there will be a few more Paramvah presentations, namely Ibbani Tabbida Ileyali, Abracadabra and Mithya, with the latter two set to be screened at the upcoming Bengaluru International Film Festival.
