Previously, Paran Bandyopadhyay has played a zamindar’s ghost in Anik Dutta's iconic film Bhuter Bhobishyot and a naughty ghost in Sandip Ray’s anthology Char. Now, amid his shooting of Pradhan, he is all set to make a comeback as a ghost in a new show.
The show delves into a haunted house – Saheb Raja’s Bari and it is directed by Surya Bhattacharya. The building is infamous as a haunted one in the locality. Two characters, Rajdeep and Sreya, plan to show that house on their YouTube channel. Their two kids also go with them and a ghost captures the two kids. ‘Saheb Raja’s ghost’ put three conditions to set them free. What happens next? The horror thriller Saheb Rajar Bari will reveal.
The film is billed as a children’s film and is also written by Surya. This is his debut film. Why a children's film? Surya told Anandabazar Online, “Nowadays, children don’t want to read books. They are addicted to phones. If they watch the film, perhaps their interest in literature will grow.” Paran Bandyopadhyay plays the ghost of Saheb Raja. The director said, “The film would not be made without Paranda. His acting is this film’s asset.”

The unit did the shooting in Kolkata, Jhargram, Batanagar, and Janai. The post-production work is going on. The film is to be released on an OTT platform.
