Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha have been making headlines for their lavish wedding in Udaipur which took place yesterday, September 24. Parineeti chose an off embroidered lehenga by Manish Malhotra for her big day.

Details about the bridal lehenga

The official page of Manish Malhotra designs, Manish Malhotra World took to Instagram and shared pictures from Raghav and Parineeti’s wedding. Revealing details about Parineeti’s wedding outfit, he captioned the post with, “Our beautiful #ManishMalhotraBride @parineetichopra is a vision of grace in our handcrafted golden masterpiece of tone-on-tone geometrical art crafted over 2,500 hours of love and artistry accompanied by our season-cherished Emerald and Uncut #ManishMalhotraJewellery.”

The couple took to their social media handles revealing their pearl-themed wedding and off-white wedding outfits. Parineeti captioned the post with, “From the very first chat at the breakfast table, our hearts knew. Been waiting for this day for a long time .. So blessed to finally be Mr and Mrs!”

The actress was seen wearing an off-white lehenga, paired with a mesh veil with Raghav’s name imprinted on it. She opted for uncut emerald necklace, matching mang teeka encrusted with Mozambique rubies and gold earrings to go with the elegant attire. Parineeti elevated her look with nude lips, brown eyeshadow and a sleek bun.

Customised kaliras

Talking about her customised kaliras, artist Mrinalini Chandra revealed that the kaliras have an underlying story of love. Taking to Instagram, Mrinalini wrote that the kaliras appear dainty from afar but have a story to tell and every motif present in the kaliras represents a moment of serendipity. She further revealed that Parineeti chose every element on her own to ensure the meeting of two separate worlds. Some of the special motifs included in the kaliras are symbol of Ek Onkar, a Punjab milestone, a coffee mug, a red London bus, a telephone booth, piano keys, treble clef and a vintage gramophone.

Raghav and Parineeti decided to tie the knot after months of courtship and had an engagement ceremony in May this year.

On the work front, Parineeti will be seen in Mission Raniganj which will hit the theatres on October 6, 2023.
