Petromax: Sathish Ninasam invites food delivery boys for lunch for an intimate chat

Sathish Ninasam's maiden collaboration with director Vijaya Prasad is all set to hit the big screens on July 15. The film in question, Petromax, promises to be an engaging watch boasting of their respective quirks and to make things better, there is a super talented ensemble cast too in place. Sathish Ninasam plays a food delivery boy in the film and it would seem that the character has struck the right chord with him as he goes about town meeting delivery agents across the city.

Posing as one of them, Sathish Ninasam was recently spotted engaging with several food delivery agents in Bengaluru ahead of the film's release. In what seemed like an endearing "sting operation", the Dear Vikram actor interacted with people on the streets and even managed to strike real conversations with them about the daily hustles, eventually revealing his true identity to everyone's pleasant surprise. "I played a delivery boy in a film but I wanted to experience firsthand what it feels like to be in a real scenario," said Sathish Ninasam in a video that's now available on social media.

In the same spirit, Sathish invited a bunch of real-life food delivery agents over to his house for lunch. The gathering saw many young individuals show up and engage in meaningful conversations about their many ordeals working in the food delivery industry and how a majority of them end up being ill-treated during their everyday pursuits. The highlight of the meeting, however, was the special meal organized by the star himself as he sat amidst all the guests to complete a rather enriching afternoon. Naturally, the heartfelt gesture on the actor's part charmed the netizens who showered praise on his grounded nature. 

Coming back to the film Petromax and his role, Sathish Ninasam had revealed in an earlier interview that the role of a delivery agent resonated strongly with him. Stating that he was able to learn of their harsh everyday struggles, Sathish added that playing the part in the film has brought him closer to those who strive incredibly hard to make their ends meet.

About the experience of working with an ensemble cast, he shares: "The best part of a multistarrer is the many friendships you end up forging over the course. We all had a ball making this film because we were in perfect sync right off the bat. And with director Vijaya Prasad keeping things light and friendly on the sets, it was such a breeze wrapping up the film in less than 40 days. The energy throughout was just superb".
