Phone Bhoot trailer launch: Katrina Kaif says she first showed the trailer to Vicky Kaushal first; here’s how he reacted

As promised, the highly awaited trailer for Phone Bhoot was finally launched at an event in Mumbai. The event saw the film’s lead stars, Katrina Kaif, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishaan Khattar in attendance. Phone Bhoot seems to be a special film for Katrina for a number of reasons. Not only does it mark the first film in her career where she plays a ghost, Phone Bhoot is also Katrina’s first film after her marriage. The actress tied the knot with Vicky Kaushal last year. During the trailer launch event, Katrina revealed that the first person she showed the film’s trailer to was none other than her husband.

Speaking about Phone Bhoot being her first film after her marriage, Katrina said that it was an ‘amazing’ and ‘wonderful’ feeling. “The first person I could show the trailer to was my husband and get a response on how he liked it”, she said.

She went on to talk about how Vicky reacted to the film. “Vicky absolutely loved the trailer. He had such a good reaction that it gave us even more confidence and happiness. And I think he really just feels that the film is something which is fun and that it’s something people are going to connect to. I think right now, people want to come and have a good time and watch something funny and enjoy themselves. I think that’s what we are all hoping that the film will do”.

In addition to Katrina, Ishaan and Siddhant, the upcoming film also features Jackie Shroff, Sheeba Chadha , Nidhi Bisht, Manu Rishi Chadha ,Kedar Shankar, Manuj Sharma , Shrikant Verma and Surendra Thakur in pivotal roles. The film is directed by Gurmmeet Singh and is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the banner of Excel Entertainment.

Phone Bhoot will haunt the silver screen on November 4.
