The release of Ponniyin Selvan 2 is just 10 days away. Fans are eagerly waiting to know when exhibitors will begin booking in Tamil Nadu where its first part emerged as the all time biggest grosser. Cinephiles are curious to know about the opening day figures of the second part, and are looking forward to its reception in Telugu and Hindi markets, too.
Lyca Productions, one of the production houses behind the project, is also distributing it overseas. The advance booking for the magnum opus has begun in the US and it looks like a terrific start is in the offing.
As of now, the movie has been slotted in more than 400 locations with over 1,100 shows. We will have to wait and see if PS 2 will open with 2 million gross on opening day. This is expected to be huge considering the makers are yet to come up with exciting promo videos.

The film which will be released in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada will hit the screens in various formats across the world. It is projected as the biggest Tamil release in the US with tickets being sold at a rate of $22 excluding booking charges.
