Pookie OTT platform locked: Where to stream Ajay Dhishan’s romantic drama

Pookie, the upcoming Tamil romantic drama film starring actor Ajay Dhishan and Dhanusha in the lead roles, is set for its theatrical release next week. Ahead of this, the makers unveiled its streaming partner. Pookie will soon be available on ZEE5 and OTTplay Premium.

Pookie OTT platform: Where to stream upcoming romantic drama?

With Valentine’s Day round the corner, it is time for some romantic dramas to hit theatres. With Love has already spearheaded the trend with its release on Friday (February 6). Now, another romantic drama is slated for big screen release next week. Titled Pookie, the film comes from Vijay Antony who has produced and scored for the film. It stars his nephew and actor Ajay Dhishan. He has made his debut in 2025’s Maargan, which also starred Vijay Antony.

Pookie is set to release in theatres on February 13. Following this, the film will premiere on ZEE5 which has bagged the streaming rights of the romantic drama. Subscribers of OTTplay Premium can also stream Pookie soon after its theatrical run.

With the trailer of Pookie yet to be released, the film’s cast includes RK Dhanusha, Pandiarajan, Sunil, Lakshmi Manchu, Indumathi Manigandan, Aaditya Kathir, Vivek Prasanna, Black Pandi, Bigg Boss Sathya, MJ Shriram, Radha, Ashwin Ram, Shiyara Sharmi, Priyanka, among the many others. Helmed and shot by Ganesh Chandra, Vijay Antony will also edit Pookie. The story, screenplay and dialogues are written by Puthiya Parithi.

What else to watch on ZEE5 this February?

If you have already watched Sirai on ZEE5, the streaming platform has also acquired Parasakthi , which will stream on February 7, via OTTplay Premium. The period political drama is directed by Sudha Kongara and stars Sivakarthikeyan, Ravi Mohan, Sreeleela and Atharvaa. There is also a crime drama series titled Thadayam which will stream later this month. The Samuthirakani-starrer will debut on February 27. It is directed by Naveen Kumar Palanivel.
