Pre-production of Salaar star Prabhas' next film begins; director and music composer locked

Post the debacle of Adipurush, Prabhas has now shifted his focus on his new film Salaar which will be released on December 22, 2023. Sometime back, we at OTTplay reported that Prabhas had okayed a film with director Hanu Raghavapudi, who gave the super hit film Sita Ramam with Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur.

Well, we have yet another interesting info about the film for our readers. The above-said project has kick-started today as Hanu Raghavapudi and his team have begun the script reading sessions in Hyderabad.

The news is also that popular music director, Vishal Chandrasekhar, who composed music for Sita Ramam has been roped in to compose music for the film. The romantic action drama will be produced by Mythri Movie Makers of Pushpa fame on a massive scale.

We have come to know from our sources that Hanu Raghavapudi has approached the happening Sreeleela to play the female lead in this film. As the heroine's role is supposed to be quite younger than the hero, the makers have approached Sreeleela. The young heroine is yet to confirm the project.

This project will be made official only when Prabhas wraps up his biggies Project K. Hanu Raghavapudi is known to make soft films with love and romance and Prabhas has a mass image. So, it will be really interesting to see what Hanu Raghavapudi has up his sleeve.
