The makers of the upcoming Malayalam film, Pradhama Drishtiyal Kuttakkar, dropped its first update today (September 11). The movie, which is touted to be a thriller, stars Parvathy Thiruvothu and Mathew Thomas in pivotal roles.

Vijayaraghavan, Sidharth Bharathan, Unnimaya Prasad and Azeez Nedumangad all play important parts in this intriguing drama, which is directed by Shahad Nilambur. PS Subramanium and Vijesh Thottingal have penned the screenplay for Pradhama Drishtiyal Kuttakkar, which is expected to hit the big screen next year. Shahad's prior directorials include Anuragam and Mathew Thomas' Prakashan Parakatte. The latter is accessible on ZEE5 as well as OTTplay Premium.

The first poster of the movie, which shows a police officer, was shared by the cast and crew with the tagline - 'When the eyes deceive, who decides who the criminal is? Here’s the first look of Pradhama Drishtiyal Kuttakkar – a tale where perception itself can convict'. It is unclear if Parvathy would be playing a cop in this project. The makers have also confirmed that the production of this film will kickstart in December this year. The rest of the details are expected in the coming days.

Vikram-starrer Tamil film, Thangalaan, was another recent release. She was also a part of a Malayalam web series, Her, on Manorama Max.

Parvathy is now playing the female lead in I, Nobody, directed by Nissam Basheer, who has directed Asif Ali's Kettiyolaanu Ente Maalakha and Mammootty's Rorschach. With Prithviraj Sukumaran as the protagonist, Ashokan, Madhupal, Hakkim Shajahan, Lukman Avaran, Ganapathi, and Vinay Fort all play supporting parts in this movie.
