Priyanka Chahar Chaudhary: Shiv Thakare was the strongest contestant on Bigg Boss 16, should’ve been in top 2 with me

Bigg Boss 16 finalists Shiv Thakare and Priyanka Chahar Chaudhary are of one opinion – that they deserved to be in top two. Shiv previously stated that he believed he and Priyanka, instead of MC Stan, would’ve made it to top two. Priyanka also shared a same point of view.

The second runner-up of Bigg Boss 16 joined Krushna Abhishek at Bigg Buzz, which is where she spoke about Shiv. Priyanka believes Shiv was a tough contender and she should’ve been in top two with Shiv.

While agreeing that Bigg Boss 16 winner MC Stan was playing with his heart, Priyanka also added, “I think he is the one everyone liked but I have to say Shiv was also a strong contender to beat. I had meant this from Day 1. I thought both of us would be standing next to each other in the finale as he was the strongest contestant in the show.”

During his segment on Bigg Buzz, Shiv said that he respected Priyanka as a player because she kept her point of view very clear. Priyanka, on the other hand, appreciated Shiv’s competitive spirit, which matched hers.

Even if Shiv is not the winner, Priyanka believes that he deserved to be the first runner-up, no doubt. She called their equation cordial, even when Shiv and Priyanka often looked the other ways on the show. She found the tasks they performed together fun, even if they were revoked some times. However, the one thing Priyanka aka Pari doesn’t regret is that the two contestants gave their 100% to every task they performed.

While appreciating Shiv’s respect for Bigg Boss, Priyanka said that she’s happy for Stan. Like the rapper has accepted it himself, the actress shared that even though Stan understood the game much later, he played well.

Despite her unwavering winning spirit, Priyanka did not cry when she became the second runner-up of Bigg Boss 16. Instead, her co-contestant and great friend Ankit Gupta ended up in tears. The reason, Priyanka reveals, is because Salman brought her back on the ground once she got overconfident that she would win the show. Ever since, Priyanka was ready to get out of the show any week. Of course, she made it to the grand finale and became the second runner-up. Apart from that, the TV actress reportedly has major projects like Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki lined up.
