Project K: This was Prabhas and Deepika Padukone's first conversation with each other

The film audience is awaiting to watch the chemistry between Prabhas and Deepika Padukone as the two will be appearing on screen together for the first time. They are collaborating for a pan-Indian film, tentatively titled, Project K and have already completed the first schedule of filming in Hyderabad. The Saaho actor even treated his colleague to some South Indian delicacies after they wrapped up the shoot last year in December. 

The actor recently opened up about working with Deepika Padukone and the first conversation they had with each other. During the promotions of his upcoming film Radhe Shyam with Pooja Hegde, the actor told the media that Padukone asked him if he were shy on their first meet. He reportedly told her that he takes time to get along with new people. 

According to the Times of India, the actor said, "We met on the sets of Project-K. Deepika asked me if I am shy. I said, initially I am. Only after getting comfortable with people, I start talking to them continuously." He further shared that he shows his goofy side after he gets comfortable with the person and sometimes, even 'irritate' them by cracking jokes continuously until and unless they enjoy his company. 

The film Project K , which will bring the two on screen for the first time, also features Amitabh Bachchan. The sci-fi film will release in six languages - Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and English. The director Nag Chaitanya had recently requested Anand Mahindra to help him with the design of futuristic cars that he can use in the film and Mahindra was more than gracious to accept the request and suggest him the right contact person in the company for him to connect with, to take the process ahead. 

The project marks Bachchan's and Padukone's debut in Tollywood, though Amitabh Bachchan has earlier done cameos in films like Chiranjeevi, Nayanthara, and Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. This would be his first full-fledged role in a Telugu movie.
