Puzhu new poster shows an imposing Mammootty beside a demure Parvathy

Ever since Mammootty’s latest venture Puzhu was announced, the megastar’s fans have been keeping their eyes peeled for updates. The makers have recently released the second poster from the movie, which also stars Parvathy Thiruvothu in a pivotal role.

Dulquer Salmaan’s production banner, Wayfarer Films, serves as the film’s distributor. The poster was released on their Instagram handle. It shows a very authoritative looking Mammootty seated, sporting a severe expression. The image also features a meek looking Parvathy standing close by.

The first look poster of Mammootty from the film was released last month. Although details regarding the plot and roles are being kept under wraps, the poster, which featured the actor brandishing a gun, led to some fans speculating that he might play the role of a cop.

The upcoming film will mark the first time Mammootty and Parvathy share the screen together. This project will mark the directorial debut of Ratheena, who had previously been involved in the capacity of an executive producer on Uyare, which also starred Parvathy.

While Harshad, Sharfu and Suhas have penned the script, Puzhu will be bankrolled by Wayfarer Films and S George’s Cyn-Cyl Celluloid. The film went on floors in August.

Mammootty is currently also busy with filming the upcoming gangster film Bheeshma Parvam, directed by Amal Neerad. The movie will see him share screen space with Soubin Shahir, Sreenath Bhasi and Srindaa.
