The Prabhas and Pooja Hegde starrer Radhe Shyam did not perform well on Saturday, earning in the same range as on Friday, for a two-day total of Rs 9 crore nett. The film's collections were the polar opposite of The Kashmir Files, as they dropped in a number of locations. It's still better in some mass pockets, but collections are low.
As per reports in Box Office India, the following are the film's two-day collections.
Friday: Rs 4.50 crore.
Saturday: Rs 4.50 crore
Total: Rs 9 crore approx.
Radhe Shyam has struggled on day two, as expected, and has collected in the same range as on day one, with nett collections of Rs 4.5 to Rs 4.75 crore. The Telugu version's box office in Mumbai has plummeted, and Hyderabad is likewise struggling. The Hindi version's two-day collections are around Rs 9 crore nett, with little prospect of a change on Sunday.
Due to strong business in Nizam and Andhra, Radhe Shyam had the second greatest opening day across all formats, albeit this is not likely to sustain as there were cracks on day one. Pushpa: The Fire has the highest opening day in India, at Rs 45 crore nett.
Outside of Nizam/Andhra, Radhe Shyam has not done well, with the best collections in Karnataka and the Telugu version in Mumbai/Thane, as well as a few other properties in Hindi circuits where South films do well.
Because of the projected fall in Andhra Pradesh, it is extremely difficult to collect beyond the first day, especially on Saturday and Sunday. The Hindi version is struggling to gain traction on day two, so the rest are doomed.
The following are Radhe Shyam's collections around India on Friday.
Nizam/Andhra: Rs. 31.50 crore (Telugu only).
Karnataka/Mysore: Rs 4.25 crore (Telugu only).
Tamil Nadu: Rs 40 lakhs (Tamil and Telugu only).
Kerala: Rs 15 lakhs
Hindi circuits: Rs 5 crore (Rs 4.5 crore Hindi, Rs 0.5 crore Telugu)
Total: Rs 41.30 crore approx.
