The much-hyped film, Radhe Shyam was released 10 days ago and it has already earned Rs 400 crores. The film, starring Prabhas and Pooja Hegde for the first time together, is one of the biggest films of recent times. The picturesque locations and the chemistry between the lead pair seem to have created magic on the screen. In addition to Hegde and Prabhas, Radhe Shyam also features Bhagyashree, Krishnam Raju, Jagapathi Babu, Sachin Khedekar, Priyadarshi and Kunaal Roy Kapur.
The film received mixed reviews on its opening. Despite mixed reviews, the film managed to collect over Rs 400 crores within 10 days of its release globally. The film collected over Rs 200 crores via its theatrical release and the other Rs 200+ crores through non-theatrical rights, sold across platforms. According to sources, makers made a whopping amount of Rs 200 crores just from the satellite and digital rights before it even hit the screens.
In the film, Prabhas plays the role of a palmist. The story is narrated by the legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan who has lent his voice as the Sutradhar. Directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, the film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Vamsi and Pramod. It is presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series.
The movie released on March 11 in theatres worldwide.
