Rahul Vijay and Megha Akash wrap up the first schedule of their next rom-com

Kudi Yedamaithe, Suryakantham actor Rahul Vijay and actress Megha Akash are joining hands for a rom-com. While the film is written and produced by Dear Megha filmmaker A Sushanth Reddy under Kota Film Factory and Trippy Flix Studios, it is directed by his protege Abhimanyu Baddi. Megha Akash's mother Bindu Akash is the presenter of the film. The yet-to-be-titled romance went on floors recently.

Rajendra Prasad, Vennela Kishore, Abhay Bethiganti, Viva Harsha and Big Boss Siri essay crucial roles in the light-hearted urban tale. The team behind the film has now confirmed they've finished filming for the first schedule held in the vicinity of Hyderabad. The shoot is progressing at a brisk pace and the second schedule of the romantic entertainer has already commenced recently.

Director Abhimanyu Baddi, expressing happiness on the way the film has been shaping up, shares, "It's all because of a fantastic team that we were able to wrap up the first schedule at a terrific pace. The first schedule was held in Hyderabad and we're heading to Goa for the next schedule. The film has a strong supporting cast and is set amid a Goa backdrop." Hari Gowra is scoring the music for the film while Prawin Pudi is the editor. Manoj Reddy cranks the camera for the same.

The filmmaker behind the romantic entertainer had also worked with Megha Akash before on the sets of Dear Megha, where he was an assistant to A Sushanth Reddy. Abhishek Kota is the co-producer of the film with KV Ramana Reddy handling duties as an art director. The makers may aim at a release in the latter half of 2022.
