Vikram Prabhu’s character in Raid is a cop, who is also a goon

The trailer of Raid kicks off with a series of gruesome murders in the city. One of the characters peg Vikram’s role as part of ‘them’, highlighting the contrast - while goons kill for money, he carries out murders as a cop. The initial clip of the trailer appears promising, but the first cut’s dialogues seem a bit clichéd and lacking depth. The actors’ performances show potential, but the audiences may have to wait for its release to know more. Overall, the trailer unveils an action-packed cut of the film and appears to have all elements of a complete commercial movie, replete with romance, stunts and emotions.
