Rajinikanth and Balakrishna unite to honour NTR at grand centenary celebrations

Superstar Rajinikanth reached Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh on Friday morning to attend the centenary celebrations of the iconic Telugu cinema actor N. T. Rama Rao. He was given a grand welcome by Telugu superstar Nandamuri Balakrishna, who is the son of NTR. The meeting between the two legendary actors at the airport was captured in photos and videos, which quickly went viral on social media, leaving fans excited about the event.

Rajinikanth will be sharing the stage with Balakrishna, where he will share his thoughts and admiration for NTR. The event, which is set to take place at Poranki in Vijayawada, will also be attended by Rajinikanth and Telugu.

In a video released on April 23, Balakrishna extended a warm invitation to fans in Vijayawada to attend the celebration and the event is expected to be a grand affair, with the who's who of Telugu cinema in attendance. 

On the career front, Rajinikanth has recently wrapped up shooting for his highly-anticipated movie Jailer , which has been written and directed by Nelson. Produced by Sun Pictures, the film boasts of a star-studded cast including Mohanlal, Shivarajkumar, Jackie Shroff, Tamannaah, Ramya Krishnan, Sunil, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Vinayakan, among others. Fans are eagerly awaiting the release of this much-awaited film.

Rajinikanth will soon join the sets of director TJ Gnanavel's next. Gnanavel became a household name after the success of Jai Bhim starring Suriya. The project has been tentatively titled Thalaivar 170 and is being produced by Lyca Productions.
