Ram Charan wishes director Shankar on his birthday, calls it a 'great learning experience' working with him for #RC15

Ram Charan, after scoring his career-best success with RRR, helmed by director SS Rajamouli, in a few months will be seen in another prestigious film directed by renowned filmmaker Shankar. The film is tenatively titled #RC15, the 50th project under Sri Venkateswara Creations, founded by producer Dil Raju. Kiara Advani, in her second film with Ram Charan after Vinaya Vidheya Rama, plays the female lead. Sunil, Srikanth, Anjali, Naveen Chandra, Kadambari Kiran too play important roles in the film too.

As director Shankar turned another year older today, the RRR star took to social media to wish him. He wrote, "Happy Birthday @shankarshanmugh Sir..❤️ It’s a great learning experience working with you… looking forward to #RC15 and the reflection of your magic in it🙏" The shoot of #RC15 is nearing completion and the story is speculated to revolve around the life of an honest IAS officer, who hopes to change the society for the better. This is Shankar's first straight Telugu film.

Writer-director Karthik Subbaraj has provided the story for #RC15 upon the request of Shankar. The film commenced shoot in 2021. S Thaman, the composer who made his first ever screen appearance as an actor for Shankar's Boys, is scoring the music for the prestigious film. Thiru and Ratnavelu are the cinematographers for the film which will be edited by Shameer Muhammed. Sai Madhav Burra has been roped in as a dialogue writer for the same. 

Shankar, after wrapping up a major portion of RC15, will next move onto Indian 2, the long-delayed sequel to his hit Indian, featuring Kamal Haasan, Rakul Preet, Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth and others in lead roles. Indian 2 will have music by Anirudh Ravichander and is produced by Lyca Productions. The filmmaker is also in talks to direct a film with Jr NTR and KGF star Yash.
