Ramayana will premiere its first title announcement and ahead of it, it gets certified, and the runtime has also been revealed. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Yash among others.

Ever since Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana was announced, fans have been waiting for updates. Starring an ensemble cast of Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Yash among others, the film is a two-part project, set to release in 2026 and 2027. Ahead of it, it has been learnt that the Ramayana title announcement video has been certified by the Central Board of Film Certification, and the runtime has also been revealed.
As per the official website of the CBFC, the name of the asset is TITLE ANNOUNCEMENT | RAMAYANA 3D. The video was certified by the Mumbai regional office on June 23 and the certified length of the video is 3 minutes. Meanwhile, it is certified with U which means the video asset is unrestricted for all age groups, and everyone can watch it.
Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana features several popular actors. Ranbir Kapoor is all set to play Lord Rama while Sai Pallavi is playing Goddess Sita. Meanwhile, superstar Yash has been cast as Raavana.
On the other hand, Sunny Deol has been cast as Lord Hanuman. Popular TV actor Ravi Dubey will play Lakshman, Lord Rama’s devoted younger brother.
Lara Dutta will portray Kaikeyi, and Rakul Preet Singh has been cast for Shurpanakha, Raavana’s sister. Kajal Aggarwal will be seen as Mandodari, the wise queen of Raavana.

The cast also features Arun Govil, Indira Krishnan, Sheeba Chaddha, Adinath Kothare, Vivek Oberoi, and many others.
Speaking to The Lallantop, Jaideep Ahlawat revealed that he was offered to play Vibhishana's role in Ramayana but had to reject it. He mentioned that it was not possible to work out his dates with Yash. He said, "Offer hua tha. Par timing match nahi ho rahi thi (The role was offered to me, but the timings did not match)."
Meanwhile, Ramayana, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, will hit theaters in two parts in 2026 and 2027.
