Days after Nitesh Tiwari began Ramayana's shoot, Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi's photos got leaked and went viral on social media. Their look as Lord Ram and Goddess Sita is already out. After the actors' pictures went viral, Nitesh Tiwari took a tough decision. As per a Mid-Day report, the filmmaker has altered Ramayana's schedule. Now, Nitesh will focus only on indoor shots, which will minimise the chances of another leak.

The media report further suggests the outdoor shoots of Ramayan will happen at night for the next few weeks. Additionally, private security has been hired to safeguard the set from the paparazzi or fans lurking around for photos. When the Nitesh Tiwari directorial went on floors, the director had exercised a no-phone policy on the set.

"That rule is non-negotiable. The unit will shoot continuously till the rains hit as Nitesh sir wants to complete a chunk by June. The makers are planning to shoot an elaborate portion later this week, which could become the announcement sequence. It is expected to be unveiled in June," revealed a source.

Yash to co-produce Ramayana

Earlier, it was revealed that Yash had come on board to play the role of Ravan in Nitesh Tiwari's film. Following that, media reports claimed that Yash also turned into a producer of the mythological epic. This update was confirmed by trade analyst Taran Adarsh on his official X handle.

"BIGGG DEVELOPMENT… YASH JOINS HANDS WITH NAMIT MALHOTRA TO PRODUCE ‘RAMAYANA’… This is a groundbreaking collaboration… NamitMalhotra [Prime Focus] and actor Yash [Monster Mind Creations] have joined forces to produce the epic saga Ramayana for Indian and global audiences (sic)," he wrote.

Meanwhile, the star cast of Ramayana also includes Lara Dutta, Arun Govil, Sheeba Chaddha and several others. Actress Rakul Preet Singh is expected to play a pivotal role in the film, which will release next year in theatres.
