Ranbir Kapoor had hinted about Alia Bhatt being pregnant during Shamshera trailer launch and you didn't even realize it

Alia Bhatt recently announced that she and Ranbir Kapoor are expecting a baby. This news took the internet by storm. However, nobody realized that Ranbir had actually hinted about the same during Shamshera trailer launch itself.

While talking to the media at the trailer launch of his film, Ranbir had hinted that he has plans to start a family already. Answering a journalist, he said, “Nahi sir, bahut kaam hai. Ab mujhe family banani hai. Pehle main khud ke liye kaam karta tha. Ab main unke liye kaam karunga.”

A video of Ranbir calling Alia the ‘dal chawal’ of his life has been going viral from the same trailer launch event. The actor had recalled his Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani dialogue and said that while he has said in his movie that people should try chilli chicken and hakka noodles, ‘dal chawal is the best’ after the kind of experience he has. Ranbir said Alia is the tadka, achar and pyaaz of his life.

Apart from Shamshera, Ranbir is also making headlines for Brahmastra and his next with Luv Ranjan. Starring Shraddha Kapoor in the lead role, the shooting for Luv Ranjan’s film came to an end only recently. Meanwhile, Karan Malhotra’s Shamshera, also starring Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles, is slated to release in theatres on July 22.

Brahmastra Part One: Shiva, which is heading for a theatrical release on September 9, is the first movie featuring Ranbir and Alia together. The Ayan Mukerji directorial brought them closer and they became a couple while working on the movie. Now, when the film is slated for release, the two are husband and wife.

Ranbir got married to Alia on April 14. They had an intimate wedding at their home. The couple released their wedding photos to make their big day official.
