Ranbir Kapoor has been busy filming for Ayan Mukerji's directorial Brahmastra, which also stars Alia Bhatt for about five years. Recently, the makers of the fantasy drama announced that they've finally completed the shooting for the film with the final leg of the shoot being wrapped in Varanasi.

In his recent interview for the promotions of his father Rishi Kapoor's swan song Sharmaji Namkeen, Ranbir opened up about his feelings post wrapping the shoot of the Brahmastra (Part One): Shiva.

Talking about finally wrapping the film after various challenges, Ranbir told Film Companion that he's not feeling very excited to wrap the film as knowing the director Ayan Mukerji, he's pretty sure that the helmer will come up with something or the other that'll need to be done.

Ranbir told the portal, "For that film, I'd say 'Never say never'. Woh director kuch bhi kaam nikal dega. So till the time this film doesn't release, I'm not going to believe only (that) this film is over."

The Brahmastra actor added saying that he's not excited about the film being wrapped, "It's a trilogy, so it's a long journey. So, aisa kuch wrap se, you know, I'm not feeling excited," and added that he's actually "really really excited for the film to come out." He said that it's a film that they've worked really hard for and he hopes that it's something that'll blow people's minds away.

The film, which went on floors back in 2018 and has been much anticipated by fans, also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Mouni Roy in significant roles. It has also been reported that Shah Rukh Khan is likely to make a special appearance in the film that has been produced by Dharma Productions. It is slated to hit the theatres on September 9, 2022.
