Ranbir Kapoor Talks about Shamshera’s Box Office Failure

During a recent media interaction, Ranbir Kapoor was asked about Shamshera’s failure at the box office and the actor responded candidly. “If Shamshera didn’t run at the box office it means the audience didn’t like the film. The film didn’t work because the content wasn’t good,” he said.

Shamshera starred Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor in lead roles. The historical fantasy was pegged as a comeback film for Kapoor, but was poorly-received by both audiences and critics.

Kapoor’s next release is Brahmastra Part One: Shiva, with Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy.
