Ever since Ramayana went on floors, netizens have been speculating too much about the magnum-opus. Although the film was announced years ago, it is currently scheduled to release in 2025. Ranbir Kapoor has already begun filming in Mumbai and the producer Namit Malhotra is in talks with Warner Bros for its global distribution for the international market. Every update about Ramayana gives a vibe that it's going to be a never-seen-before film in Indian cinema.

Even the slightest update can trigger numerous speculations on the internet. For instance, recently a poster of Ranbir Kapoor went viral, where he is seen in a crazy look. His long hair and weird face are making netizens wonder if it's the announcement of a new film, or the first look of Lord Rama with a modern touch. However, one thing is for sure - it's not about Ramayana as at the bottom of the poster it's written “Directed by Rohit Dhawan”. Ramayana is directed by Nitesh Tiwari, and stars Sai Pallavi as Sita and Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama.
However, the poster also hinted that Ranbir Kapoor will be seen as Ultimate Fighter, which could be also the project’s name. While some die-hard fans of Kapoor flooded the comments section with their love and support, some couldn't stop trolling him for his funny look. Well, some even guessed that it's not a film, rather it's a new advertisement for some brand.
Ramayana to be distributed by Warner Bros.
A source revealed to Pinkvilla that Warner Bros. will be giving Ramayana a global recognition by joining hands for a mega partnership, extending to all 3-parts of the film. The person also stated that Ramayana is the most ambitious project in Indian cinema. Therefore, the whole team is trying their level best to make it as big as possible, for not only the Indian audiences, but also to give it global recognition. Ramayana’s budget has not been fixed yet as it's still getting bigger and bigger.
They also disclosed that Namit Malhotra is not only trying to get financial help from the Hollywood giant but also trying to fix the global distribution at the international market. Ramayana is going to be the first film ever that is 100% made in India, which will dominate the global market.
