Ranbir Kapoor's official first look as Lord Ram: Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana promises to be focused on fine details

The official first look of Ranbir Kapoor from Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana is finally out. The actor is seen in two shots from the same scene, and his full face is not revealed yet, but even the small glimpse speaks volumes about how Ramayana could be in the fine details, along with the grand moments. In his first look, which is about pulling the arrow, Ranbir Kapoor promises to have fine-tuned himself to play Lord Rama. From the silky long hair to the hand positioning and slight expression change before and after pulling the arrow, fans are absolutely loving every bit of Ranbir, even if the actor is not seen in his full first glimpse. In the look, he is seen with a mere peach-coloured cloth covering his body, a gold ring, and a mala made of beads.

Ranbir Kapoor's role in Ramayana

Ranbir Kapoor is seen in the role of Lord Ram in Ramayana. The mythological drama tells the tale of Lord Rama during his time of 14 years vvan-vaas in the forest with Goddess Sita, brother Lakshman, and Lord Hanuman. The tale unfolds drastically when Raavan, furious with Lord Ram, seeks revenge by kidnapping Goddess Sita. In Nitesh Tiwari's cinema, while Ranbir plays the role of Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi plays Goddess Sita, and KGF actor Yash (Kannada superstar) is seen in the role of Raavan. Ravie Dubey plays the role of Lord Ram's brother, Lord Lakshman, and Sunny Deol is seen as Lord Hanuman.

Ramayana Part 1 first look out

Ramayana Part 1's first look announcement video is now out. This is the first official video released by the makers, and it has raised the benchmark to the level of gold. The official logo of the film, along with glimpses of what is to come with the story and, of course, glimpses of the leading actors, aka Ranbir Kapoor and Yash, are unveiled. The first part of the movie is scheduled for Diwali release in 2026, with the second part releasing in 2027.
