Following the lead of biggies like Akshay Kumar and Rajnikanth, it is now Ranveer Singh who is all set to embark on a journey with famous adventurer Bear Grylls. If reports doing the rounds are to be believed, the Padmaavat actor will mark his digital debut with an adventure show for Netflix alongside Bear Grylls. The series is reported to be produced by Netflix and will go on floors in Siberia in the next couple of months with Singh having to prepare to survive in extreme conditions.
A report on The Indian Express quoted a source close to the development as saying, , "Ranveer and Bear Grylls have been in talks for a wilderness adventure series for several months now, and this adventure outing will be for Netflix." Apparently, the streaming giant has almost zeroed down the deal and audiences will catch a glance of the duo sharing screens as they set out on an adventurous journey into the wilderness. Reportedly, Ranveer will begin shooting for the show in Siberia in the next two months.
This will be Ranveer Singh's foray into entertainment of a different kind. Before Ranveer, Grylls has geared with Akshay Kumar for an episode of Into The Wild, wherein the actor was surprised when offered elephant poop tea by the adventurer.
The adventurer also paired up with South superstar Rajnikanth for another episode of the show, which marked Rajnikanth's television debut. However, the biggest of all was when Bear Grylls took Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on an adventurous trip for an episode of his popular adventure show Man vs Wild in 2019. Viewers loved the bonding between Modi and Grylls.
Into the Wild is one of Netflix's most watched adventure shows available to stream on the platform. The show that raised Bear Grylls to popularity, Man vs Wild is available to stream on Amazon Prime Videos and Discovery Plus.
