Ranveer Singh has been MIA for a while, as the actor has been busy filming his next project with URI: The Surgical Strike director Aditya Dhar. Tentatively titled Dhurandar, the film has already become one of the most anticipated movies across the country—and for good reason, particularly its star-studded cast. However, not much information about the film has been revealed yet.
While Ranveer is currently occupied with Dhurandar, he is already planning his next project after wrapping up the period drama. According to reports, the actor is set to star in a zombie drama, which will be directed by Hansal Mehta’s son, Jai Mehta.
Ranveer Singh To Do A Zombie Film?
For those unaware, Ranveer Singh is currently shooting for Dhurandar and has already wrapped up a schedule in Amritsar. The actor is expected to continue filming for Aditya Dhar’s directorial venture until May 2025. If rumors are to be believed, he will then start shooting for Don 3 with Farhan Akhtar in October 2025.
However, a Pinkvilla report now suggests that after Don 3, Ranveer will step into a zombie drama. The exciting part? The actor will not only star in the film but also produce it under his banner, Maa Kasam Films.
According to reports, while the project is still in its early development stage, Ranveer and his team will finalize their decision once the script is locked. The actor has also been actively contributing to the writing process.
A source close to the development shared: “The zombie film will be produced by Ranveer Singh himself under his banner, Maa Kasam Films. It’s still in the development stage, and he will take a call on the film once the script is locked by Jai Mehta. Right now, Ranveer is also actively contributing his inputs to the writing process and hopes to finalize the script by the end of this year.”

For the uninitiated, Dhurandar—Ranveer Singh’s current project—is said to feature an ensemble cast, including R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, and Akshaye Khanna.
