Ranveer Singh is gearing up for one of the biggest, most daring adventures of his life with Ranveer VS Wild with Bear Grylls. The Netflix Interactive Adventure Reality Special will see the Bollywood star team up with adventurer Bear Grylls for a noble quest- going in search of a rare wildflower for his beloved Deepika Padukone. Ranveer is sure to face an array of trials and tribulations in his journey. Perhaps one of the biggest is leaving behind one of his most prized possessions- his quirky wardrobe.

In a new promo for the show, Ranveer can be seen bidding a teary goodbye to his wardrobe, filled with clothes as colourful as the popular star’s personality. The actor is seen breaking down and even audibly sobbing in the hilarious promo. But even leaving behind his cherished closet cannot dim the fire in Ranveer’s heart, as he declares “ Dil darega nahi, karega”.

Sharing the promo on their social media handles, Netflix India wrote “You know things are getting serious when @ranveersingh leaves his wardrobe behind and picks camo pants instead. Get ready for a Ranveer you’ve never seen before”.

In addition to Bear Grylls. Ranveer’s essentials survival kit will also bear witness to his arduous journey of adventure. The actor recently revealed the things that make up his survival kit. Banana chips, a vanity mirror, water, flare and grappling hook, were some of the items that found a place in Ranveer’s bag. The upcoming show marks Ranveer’s OTT debut as well.

Ranveer VS Wild with Bear Grylls will premiere on Netflix on July 8, 2022.

Ranveer was last seen in Divyang Thakkar’s Jayeshbhai Jordaar. The star’s upcoming films include Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus and the Karan Johar directorial Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. The latter will see him share the screen with Alia Bhatt.
