Rashami Desai calls Umar Riaz ‘family’ while revealing whether she ever loved him

Rashami Desai recently called Umar Riaz ‘family’. The actress, who has been often linked with him, also cleared up the rumours once again. This time, she revealed whether she ever loved Umar.

Rashami and Umar came together on Bigg Boss 15 and people assumed that sparks flew between them. Rashami even did fun acts like sitting on Umar’s lap (probably to get a comment from Rakhi Sawant).

The actress has now clarified whether what people assumed was true and whether she actually felt something for Umar at some given point, like what the viewers thought. Taking to Instagram, she clarified that wasn’t the case. However, Rashami called Umar a ‘friend like family’.

She also added the Friends theme song while sharing the message. “I’ll be there for you,” played alongside a photo of them, while Rashami answered the question.

Rashami and Umar’s friendship has been so strong since the day they met that there were fanclubs shipping for them since that moment – after Bigg Boss 13 finale when Asim Riaz, Himanshi Khurana, Rashami and Umar celebrated together. Back then, Asim was the runner-up of the show and Rashami was also among the top 5.

UmRash (as the fans call them) have been spotted many times outside the house too. They were seen at Shamita Shetty’s birthday bash, where the two clicked pictures together. More recently, Umar and Rashami clicked selfies at Afsana Khan’s wedding. Umar, who was friends with Donal Bisht in Bigg Boss 15 house, did not click any picture with her but Rashami.

Rashami and Umar had cleared that they were only friends at Bigg Boss 15’s grand finale. Rakhi had thrown hints at that saying that UmRash was only for the show because Umar’s father wouldn’t accept anybody outside Umar’s cast, let alone it be someone like Rashami.

She was married to Nandish Sandhu previously. She was also in a relationship with Arhaan Khan, who had been a part of Bigg Boss 13. However, currently the actress maintains she is single.

During the Q&A section, Rashami was also asked if she has plans to get married again ever. The actress replied to the same with Housefull song ‘I don’t know what to do’.
