There are very few actors in Telugu cinema who can compete with Ravi Teja and his enthusiasm for wrapping up films at a rapid pace. While Ravi Teja awaits the release of his action entertainer Ramarao on Duty on June 17, he's also ensuring that his third film in 2022, Ravanasura, will hit screens on time. The entire team of Ravanasura has completed an extensive schedule recently where crucial portions and action sequences were filmed.

With the completion of the recent schedule, Ravanasura team has finished shooting three schedules in total at a terrific pace. Written by Srikanth Vissa, Ravanasura, an action thriller, is directed by Sudheer Varma. This is the first-ever film in Ravi Teja's career in which he is playing a lawyer. While Sushanth plays an important role as Ram in the thriller, there are as many as five female leads including Anu Emmanuel, Megha Akash, Faria Abdullah, Daksha Nagarkar and Pujita Ponnada, who reportedly have equally meaty roles.

The first look posters of Ravi Teja and Sushanth in the film received impressive responses from crowds. Ravanasura promises to be a slick, stylish outing and if all goes well, will hit theatres in September. The film has a terrific technical crew as well including cinematographer Vijay Kartik Kannan, editor Srikanth and production designer DRK Kiran, to name a few. Harshavardhan Rameshwar and Bheems are scoring music for the film.

Abhishek Nama is bankrolling the film under Abhishek Pictures in collaboration with RT Teamworks. Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Sampath Raj, Nitin Mehta (Akhanda fame), Satya, Jaya Prakash and others also essay important roles. Ravi Teja is simultaneously working on director Trinadha Rao Nakkina's Dhamaka and the pan-Indian film Tiger Nageswara Rao, helmed by Vamsee. Meanwhile, Sushanth is also set to make his digitial debut with a ZEE5 show where he plays a cop.
