Ravi Teja commences shooting for Sudheer Varma’s Ravanasura

Ravi Teja and director Sudheer Varma’s action thriller Ravanasura commenced on a grand note this Sankranthi and also began its principal shoot recently. While a few night sequences featuring Sushanth and other actors in the film were shot a few days ago, the lead actor Ravi Teja has joined the team of Ravanasura today and is quite pumped about it. 

“First day!! #RAVANASURA... Supperr excited ,” posted the actor on his social media handle, besides sharing a selfie with the director Sudheer Varma, actress Faria Abdullah, producer Abhishek Nama, writer Srikanth Vissa and cinematographer Vijay Kartik Kannan. Ravanasura is the first ever film where Ravi Teja is cast as a lawyer. Sushanth plays an important role as Ram in the film. 

Abhishek Nama is bankrolling the film on a grand canvas under Abhishek Pictures and RT Teamworks. As many as five female leads are part of Ravanasura, including Anu Emmanuel, Megha Akash, Faria Abdullah, Daksha Nagarkar and Poojitha Ponnada, who'll have equally prominent roles. Srikanth Vissa has penned the story, screenplay and dialogues for the project. 

Arjun Reddy-fame Harshavardhan Rameswar and Bheems (who also worked on Ravi Teja's Bengal Tiger) are jointly composing the music for the film whose crew includes cinematographer Vijay Kartik Kannan, editor Srikanth and production designer DRK Kiran. The supporting cast includes Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Sampath Raj, Nitin Mehta (Akhanda fame), Satya, Jaya Prakash and others.
