Ray teaser: Manoj Bajpayee, Kay Kay Menon, Ali Fazal and Harshvarrdhan Kapoor to headline anthology based on Satyajit Ray's stories; watch

Back at the beginning of the year, Netflix had promised us to not let entertainment stop with its offerings of Indian films and web series. Now, it looks like the time to release yet another film on the platform. What makes it even more exciting is the fact that it would be an anthology, based on the stories written by one of the very best storytellers ever- Satyajit Ray. Yes, we are talking about Ray.

The teaser of the film is out, and it does not tell us much- except for what the titles of the four short films would be and who would be a part of it. There is 'Forget Me Not' starring Ali Fazal, 'Bahrupiya' with Kay Kay Menon in the lead, Manoj Bajpayee starrer 'Hungama Hai Kyun Barpa' and lastly Harshvarrdhan Kapoor's Spotlight. We are yet to know who would be directing these. Check out the teaser here:

The series would be streaming on Netflix from the 25th of June. Well, given the stories are by Satyajit Ray, the expectations would obviously be sky high. This is not the first time though that Ray's stories have been compiled into an anthology. It has been done several times in Bengali films like 'Jekhane Bhooter Bhoy' which was made by Satyajit Ray's son, Sandip Ray.
