RC 15: Kiara Advani joins Ram Charan in Shankar's directorial

On the occasion of Kiara Advani's birthday, the actor's new film has been announced. She is all set to play the female lead in Ram Charan starrer film directed by Shankar. The film is tentatively titled RC 15 and it's going to be a pan-Indian flick. The film is jointly produced by Dil Raju and Shirish Garu under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations.

In a statement, Kiara shared her excitement to be a part of RC 15. The actor stated, "It's definitely one of the best birthday presents I have gotten so far. I am excited as well as nervous to work with renowned and experienced names of our film fraternity. I am eagerly waiting to begin the shoot and hoping that this incredible opportunity is translated wonderfully on screen!"

Candid photos of Shankar and Kiara have been shared by the publicist of the film. In the photos, the actor and director duo is seen in an animated conversation.

The film will be releasing in three languages - Telugu, Tamil and Hindi.

RC 15 marks Kiara's third Telugu outing after Bharat Ane Nenu and Vinaya Vidheya Rama. Interestingly, the actor is teaming up with Ram after Vinaya Vidheya Rama which was released in 2019.

Currently, Kiara is gearing up for the release of Shershaah in which she plays the role of Dimple Cheema. The actor is paired opposite Sidharth Malhotra in the film directed by Vishnu Varadhan and co-produced by Karan Johar under his home banner Dharma Productions. The film is set to be an Amazon Prime release and will stream from August 12, 2021.

Apart from Shershaah, Kiara also has Anees Bazmee's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 opposite Kartik Aaryan. She has also been shooting for Jug Jugg Jeeyo which reunites her with Good Newwz director Raj Mehta. The film also stars Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor and Varun Dhawan in the lead roles.
