Revealed: What Anil Kapoor told Sandeep Modi about the success of The Night Manager | Exclusive

The love, appreciation, and positive reviews from the audience continue to flood Sandeep Modi's social media pages. And the creator of The Night Manager, starring Anil Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapoor in lead roles, couldn't be happier.

In a conversation with OTTplay, when we asked Sandeep what his current state of mind is, he said, "Being someone who has mostly struggled in life as a storyteller, this is something that is new to me. I cannot thank everyone enough and express my gratitude to each and every person who watched the show and appreciated it. You know, it takes an equal amount of time, effort, and energy to create a good show and a bad show, because no one intends to make a bad show, right? But at times, magic happens, and everything falls into place correctly. The Night Manager show was that."

Revealing a conversation that he had with Anil recently about the success of the show, Sandeep said, "Anil sir told me to cherish every bit of this because I worked really hard for it. Then he told me that I will be doing a lot of work in the future and that not every project will get as much love from the audience. There will be bad days and tough times when I will have to struggle. He told me that these moments, messages, reviews, and audience reactions would fuel me on my bad days to rise up and work again. I was emotional after hearing that, but I really felt every single word that sir told me. But overall, I am happy and hopeful for my next project, which I will begin soon." 

The Night Manager is the Indian adaptation of the British show of the same name and also stars Sobhita Dhulipalla, Tilottoma Shome, and Saswata Chatterjee. It is available to stream now on Disney+ Hotstar.
