Keerthi Suresh is all set to captivate the audience once again! The National Award-winning actress, who has some of the most interesting films lined up for 2024, will be starring in K Chandru’s directorial film Revolver Rita. The poster of the film was unveiled in 2023. The latest update is that streaming giant Netflix has now acquired the digital rights of the film and will be available for streaming in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada post its theatrical run.
As per ‘Netflix Pandigai’ announcements, the film’s digital rights have been acquired along with other Tamil biggies that will be releasing this year.
The vibrant poster of Revolver Rita, which was released last year, showcased the actress in a peppy yet daring avatar, holding guns. The poster also exuded retro vibes, leading to speculations that the film could be a potential remake of the 1970 film by KSR Doss, which goes by the same name. The 1970 Revolver Rita starred Vijayalalitha and Jothilakshmi in the lead. Nonetheless, we are excited to see what this new version is all about and looks like Keerthi Suresh will surprise us all with her stellar performance once again!
Apart from Revolver Rita, Keerthi Suresh will also be starring in Suman Kumar’s Raghu Thatha, which is a humorous take on how a young woman, played by Keerthy Suresh, fights to ‘protect the identity of her land and people’. The film will be focussing on the strong-willed woman, who goes about challenging society’s norms to fight for her rights. The project is bankrolled by acclaimed production house Hombale Films.
The actress will also be seen opposite Varun Dhawan in her Bollywood debut, Jayam Ravi starrer crime thriller Siren and Ganesh Raj directorial Tamil drama Kannivedi. The actress will also be sharing screen space with Radhika Apte for YRF’s OTT series titled Akka.
