The singer’s family flies back to Mumbai with his mortal remains. Primary autopsy report rules out unnatural death, suggests cardiac arrest

Parambrata Chatterjee took to social media to express grief over KK’s demise. The singer died on May 31 after his concert at Nazrul Mancha. On June 1, KK’s family took the mortal remains of the singer back to Mumbai, where he will be cremated on June 2.
Meanwhile, Parambrata, who has been travelling, tweeted his feelings. The actor’s upcoming film Habji Gabji, which is directed by Raj Chakraborty, will release on June 3. The actor wrote on his social media, "Something is severely wrong with the world, and life as we know on this planet.. #KK let me process this and only then I shall write #RIP ect"
Besides Parambrata, many other members of the fraternity mourned the death of KK. Jeet Gannguli, Babul Supriya, Anupam Roy and others visited the hospital after the death of the singer.
His family – wife and children – reached Kolkata on Wednesday morning. They flew back to Mumbai with his mortal remains. The singer will be cremated on June 2 at Versova Hindu Cemetery. An autopsy was conducted and the primary report ruled out unnatural death and suggested cardiac arrest as a reason of death. Before leaving, the West Bengal Government paid tribute to the singer with a gun salute at Rabindra Sadan.
The singer died hours after he performed at Nazrul Mancha that was overcrowded. After culminating his last show with Rahein Ya Na Rahe Yaad Ayenge Yeh Pal, he started feeling unwell. His manager revealed that he suggested switching off the car AC as he was cold. At the Hotel, after posing with fans, he went back to his room and collapsed. He was taken to a hospital, where he was declared dead.
