Ritwick Chakraborty’s sarcastic posts irk internet trolls

Ritwick Chakraborty won people's hearts with his acting talent. His recent web series Adv Achinta Aich was loved by viewers. The actor is active on social media and makes humorous and sarcastic posts on many political issues. Now, he shared a cryptic post which, according to experts, targeted the BJP and their commitment to upholding ‘Sanatan’ or 'traditionalism' in India. 

On his social media, Ritwick seemed to have taken a dig at Narendra Modi’s latest meditation at Kanyakumari. The actor wrote that while a theme to decorate a Puja (Durga Puja, essentially) works well, a priest for just the theme doesn’t work well. The post further says, “Even if you make temples in many places, those whose temples you make will not contest the election on your behalf.” He wrote this on Facebook also and was attacked mercilessly by trolls. He retorted, “Will you get the payment today? Understand your correct wage” implying that the attackers were the alleged IT cell employees.  

Ritwick shared a collected message also, whose heading is 'Collection and Realization.' There are five points, each a known Bengali line with the word 'Sanatan'. 

After the election counting, the BJP failed to emerge as the single largest party in India. In fact, their dream of crossing 400 seats was also shattered. They will form a government owing to their NDA coalition. Hence, according to several political experts, the victory chariot of the saffron brigade has stalled a bit.
