Rooqma Ray vacays in style, enjoys sun and sand in Lakshadweep

Earlier, the Maldives used to be a hotspot travel destination for celebrities. But the trend changed and Lakshadweep is the ‘new cool’. Celebrities from Tollywood and Bollywood are going to the place of white sand and blue water. Rooqma Roy is the newest addition to the list.

Rooqma had an all-white look. She had white shorts, a crop top, and a long shrug. She wore a hat and sunglasses. The actress shared these photos from Agatti Island. Her fans were mesmerized seeing the photos. A few days back, actress Sreema Bhattacharya also shared photos from the same location.

Maldives government faced the wrath of Indians due to some controversial comments about India and its PM. Many Bollywood actors and cricketers called to boycott the Maldives. Now, Tollywood actors are also seen to choose Lakshadweep over Maldives.

There is a flight service from Kochi to Lakshadweep on certain days of the week. Agatti Island is the only airport in Lakshadweep. There are also marine lines from Mumbai, Goa, and Kochi. But the service is limited.

Lakshadweep consists of thirty-six islands and is the smallest union territory of India. There are residencies in only ten islands. Tourists can go to six.
