SS Rajamouli’s RRR featuring Ram Charan and Jr. NTR in the lead roles has entered Rs. 100 crore club on its fifth day i.e. on Tuesday. The movie had minted close to Rs. 75 crores at the Box Office over the weekend itself and it held strong on day 4 Monday as well. While many first Mondays are crucial in order to predict where a film is going, RRR sailed through and now it is the fastest film post pandemic to cross Rs. 100 crore mark at the Box Office.

Yes, RRR has beaten Sooryavanshi as well to collect Rs. 100 crores within five days. Sooryavanshi entered Rs. 100 crore club after six days.

According to Box Office India, RRR (Hindi) has minted Rs. 15-16 crores at the Box Office on day 5 Tuesday. The movie earned Rs. 16.75-17 crores on day 4 i.e. first Monday. Thus, RRR has not seen immense drop which is a very good sign for the movie.

Here’s the Box Office collection for RRR till date:

Friday – Rs. 19 crores

Saturday – Rs. 24 crores

Sunday – Rs. 31.50 crores

Monday – Rs. 16.75 crores

Tuesday (approximately) – Rs. 16 crores

Total (approximately) – Rs. 107.25 crores

Rajamouli’s film is holding well in places where it did not work initially. This includes the Delhi-NCR and Punjab belt. The movie is working well in Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, Kolkata and East Punjab while it is working extremely well in other places across India. The movie has worked extremely well on Tuesday in areas like Gujarat, UP, Bihar, Odisha and Rajasthan.

One reason why RRR is still working so well on the weekdays could be because some places are on a strike and thus, banks are shut down. Thus, these employees could be watching the movie they otherwise could not catch over the weekend. RRR’s real test would have been from Monday but whether the movie is actually doing good will be revealed after its Wednesday Box Office collections.

All the films that have released post the pandemic era have somewhere suffered on its first Wednesday. RRR might change the trend but that remains to be seen.

Nonetheless, the film has crossed Rs. 100 crore mark in the Hindi version itself and so, the movie is not a flop. Instead, RRR could be called a blockbuster and might continue its strong run for a few more days or even weeks.
