RRR’s Hindi version has seen further drop on its first Tuesday, as it completes a week. While the movie might have easily collected Rs. 150 crores within the week, the major drop from day 4 Monday did affect the movie a little. Even now, as RRR completes a week, the film has seen a further drop, even if by little.
SS Rajamouli’s film, according to early estimates on Pinkvilla, has earned Rs. 12 crores on day 7. Thus, the total for RRR is Rs. 132 crores nett (approximately).
Here’s what the current Box Office for RRR looks like:
Day 1 (Friday) – Rs. 19 crores
Day 2 (Saturday) – Rs. 24 crores
Day 3 (Sunday) – Rs. 31.50 crores
Day 4 (Monday) – Rs. 16.75 crores
Day 5 (Tuesday) – Rs. 15.25 crores
Day 6 (Wednesday) – Rs. 13.50 crores
Day 7 (Thursday) – Rs. 12 crores (approximately)
Total (week 1) – Rs. 132 crores
RRR saw a drop over the weekday. The movie was expected to see some rise on or since Wednesday but unfortunately, that did not happen with the Ram Charan-Jr. NTR starrer and thus, now, Friday becomes crucial for the film.
The movie might not have much competition at the Box Office (apart from The Kashmir Files, which is also in its fourth week now) but John Abraham’s Attack: Part 1 is slated to release in theatres and if the movie works well, then the viewers might once again get divided, which might further affect RRR’s business.
If RRR can hold on its second Friday and weekend, it might just surpass The Kashmir Files to become the highest-grossing film (in Hindi) so far. It is to be noted that RRR released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada too. The movie, however, is originally a Telugu movie.
