Ever since the makers of the upcoming action thriller Vikram announced that the movie will bring together Kamal Haasan, Fahadh Faasil and Vijay Sethupathi together, fans have been waiting to know more about the project. As if getting these three powerhouses of talent together for the same project wasn't enough, it seems that the makers have another big surprise in store for cinegoers. Rumour mills in Kollywood have been busy churning that Amitabh Bachchan is likely to have a cameo in the film.

A report on Pinkvilla suggests that Big B will be seen playing an important cameo in the climax scene of the film. Though, there hasn't been any official confirmation on the same by the makers. However, if the reports indeed turn out to be true, then it'll be a treat for the movie enthusiasts to witness the four actors coming together on screen for the first time.

As per reports, the shooting for Vikram had been completed by the end of February and the movie is currently in post-production. Reportedly, Haasan had to opt out of Bigg Boss Ultimate (the reality show that he was hosting on Disney+Hotstar), so that he could complete the shooting for his portions in the film.

Anirudh Ravichander has composed the music for the film while the cinematography has been done by Girish Gangadharan. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the action entertainer is scheduled to hit the silver screens on June 3. Reportedly, the film's digital and satellite rights have been sold at a humongous cost of Rs 112 crore. The deal is said to have already covered the film's budget.

Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan was recently seen in Nagraj Manjule directorial Jhund. The actor will next be seen in Runway 34 with Ajay Devgn and Brahmastra with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. He's also shooting for Nag Ashwin's Project K with Deepika Padukone and Prabhas. While Big B has earlier worked with Deepika in Piku, Project K will see him collaborating with Prabhas for the first time on screen.
